The 2017 Nissan Sentra vs. The 2017 Hyundai Elantra
Thanks to their superb combination of everyday useability, excellent fuel economy, and low base prices, the market for compact sedans continues to thrive in British Columbia. Two of the most popular compact sedans are the new 2017 Nissan Sentra, and the 2017 Hyundai Elantra – but which one is best? Vernon Nissan decided to find out.

In the end it’s a close competition, with both competitors showing off their unique advantages. The Elantra offers drivers a slightly more powerful engine, along with a modest bump in fuel economy, but just misses the mark.
The 2017 Nissan Sentra provides families across the Okanagan Valley with clever features like a standard Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), more cargo space, as well as clever features like push-button ignition. Plus the Sentra is an IIHS “2017 Top Safety Pick”, with a long list of advanced safety features like lane departure warning with rear cross-traffic alert.
