Whether you are walking into our dealership for the first time, or whether you’ve been coming back for years, you can be assured that our dedicated staff won’t just meet your needs ? we?ll beat them, too! Transparency is a must when buying a vehicle — especially when you are not physically here to see, touch, and drive your new vehicle. Our process is simple and effective. We will provide you with a personalized video of the vehicle you are purchasing, a mechanical report, ICBC or CarProof claims history, and full disclosure throughout the entire process.

It?s simple really; you pay the tax of the Province in which you live.
For example, let’s say you live in Alberta:
1) Picking up the vehicle in Vernon: if you pick up your vehicle and drive it home, both PST & GST will have to be paid initially, but you will be reimbursed the PST once you fill out the necessary government forms (which we provide). Once the Government receives and processes the forms, they will reimburse you the 7% PST portion (usually within 4-6 weeks). You only pay the taxes for your province and reimbursement is guaranteed.
2) Shipping the vehicle: If you make arrangements to deliver a vehicle to your home province, then you will only pay 5% GST which you will be charged at the point of sale.
Many of our clients choose to ship their new vehicle. Our trusted partners have been assisting us for years, and will ensure your vehicle arrives in a timely manner.
Before the vehicle leaves our dealership, your sales consultant will shoot a final HD video of your new vehicle so you have something to view until it arrives! Our Sales Administrator and Management team will ensure that you are well informed during this entire process.

Most of our vehicles qualify for financing and because of the amount of business we do with our trusted partners we have access to competitive finance rates. I have never bought a vehicle without seeing it how do I know that it is in fact in good condition?
Vernon Nissan is part of the Sentes Automotive Group which is the largest auto group outside of the lower mainland and we will provide you with all of the information that you will need to make an informed purchase decision. Car Proof or ICBC accident report, mechanical report, and a full personalized video of the vehicle you are looking to purchase.
What if my vehicle is damaged during shipping?
Our shipping partners are fully insured and any new damages found after transport will be rectified. Your Sales Consultant will send you a final video walk around on your vehicle after it has been detailed and before delivery so you have record of the condition before it leaves our dealership. Our shipping partners are just that, partners, and we work together to ensure that you, our mutual client, are taken care of.
Do I have to get an inspection on my car once it arrives?
If your new vehicle is a pre-owned vehicle and is being shipped outside of B.C. to another Province then yes, it will have to have an out of province inspection. This low cost inspection is a formality to ensure that the vehicle you are bringing in meets the requirements of your province. Our reconditioning standards mean that the vehicle that you are purchasing will meet the requirements of your home Province. You will also receive via email, the service inspection on this vehicle and the printed copies will arrive with the vehicle as well.
What does ?Certified? mean and what does it get me?

So if I am not buying a Nissan does that mean I am getting a sub-standard vehicle?
Absolutely not, we are dedicated to ensuring that we sell a quality vehicle no matter what the brand. Our entire pre-owned inventory has been fully safety inspected and reconditioned to the standards set by our dealership and our dealer group.
What kind of finance rate would I get?
We work with a number of financial institutions to ensure that we get you the most competitive rate for the vehicle you are purchasing. A number of factors can affect what rate we can get. Our Financial services office will work diligently to ensure we are getting the best rate for the vehicle you are buying. Nissan Certified vehicles may also qualify for special sub-vented rates through Nissan Canada Financal Services. Check with one of our Sales Consultants for current offerings.
What kind of guarantee or warranty do I get?
Depending on the vehicle that you are purchasing there may or may not be any remaining manufacturer?s warranty. For added peace of mind we offer and can tailor a warranty to your specific driving needs. Our Sales Consultants and Financial Services managers will work with you to ensure you are getting the proper and adequate coverage for your new vehicle.
Do you offer protection packages or 3M?
Yes, as a full service dealership we offer many products intended to protect your new investment. 3M, Rust proofing, Undercoat, Paint Protection, leather and vinyl protection and window tint are all items offered through our dealership. These items can also be added to any finance or lease contracts.
