2017 Murano Performance & Economy
It would be a pity if the new 2017 Nissan Murano couldn’t accelerate or handle as well as its aerodynamic body structure suggests. That’s why we’re fortunate the 2017 model comes equipped with a 3.5L V6 engine, set up with continuously variable transmission (CVT) and optional all-wheel drive. All told, a performance output of 260 horsepower at 240 lb-ft of torque, and a higher fuel economy than ever before of 9.5L/100km combined (or 25 mpg).

2017 Nissan Murano Interior
It’s true: the new Nissan Murano has grown a bit longer. But we can be thankful that Nissan has elected not to stuff in a 3rd row of its fatigue-reducing seats, and has opted instead to let those size gains reflect in more roominess and greater cargo area, the specifics of which are still to be announced. But what is easily recognizable in early viewings is the direction taken towards greater luxury. An absence of dark, hard plastics is noticeable right away, with a new dash and instrument panel that is uncluttered and more intuitive, setting up room for the 7.0 or 8.0″ touchscreen media panel.
